Uh, this will be a long post. I was hesistant about posting it, as I don't only mention the features I like, but also the ones I dislike.
Here it is, an in-depth Clickfunnels Review with my feedback after 2 weeks of using it.
Hope it serves you well, friend! 😉
What Is ClickFunnels?
To simplify it, Clickfunnels is website builder. It's a tool used to add elements to your page (such as images, text, opt-in form, buttons, etc) and it's main purpose is to collect leads for your business.
You see, for people who are selling something online, or doing affiliate marketing, sales funnel is a must. They just have to capture people's emails, so they can, later on, send them promotional emails and advertise their products.
And there are dozens of different website builders / landing page builders online, so your options aren't limited. You could, in theory, build the same website with WordPress for example.
Clickfunnels just makes it easier.
When I tried it out for the first time, I couldn't believe how easy it was to build a nicely looking landing page. Before that, I would have to use HTML and CSS and build everything manually.
Now I just simply dragged and dropped the elements where I wanted them to appear, all of that happened on the front-end.
I actually had my first page set-up in less than 15 minutes, and I was really going into details. A simple one would take me 10 minutes tops.
I understand it might be confusing for first-time users, so here's exactly what you get with their standard plan (the cheapest).
#1: Visual, Drag & Drop Editor
Here's an image so you can easier imagine how it looks. Basically, you just select the element you want, and drag it onto your site. As simple as that.
#2: Sharing Funnels & Templates
Now this is what I really love about Clickfunnels! Let's say you know someone that makes really beautiful landing pages, and you want to use some of his templates & just change the images & text.
Say no more! That guy can simply share the funnel with you (send you the link) and you can LITERALLY use his template for free.
This really comes in handy when doing affiliate marketing or selling online products, as you can get a funnel that CONVERTS and just change some things to your liking.
ClickFunnels also has some templates in different categories, that way you don't have to start your site from scratch.
#3: Variety of Page Elements
You have access to all elements you need, whether you're building a professional landing page for a big company, or just a small site for your neighbour.
Even if you do not see an element you need there, you have all the freedom to use classic HTML or 3rd party script.
Here are some of their more advanced elements, just so you see what can be done with Clickfunnels.
- SMS Signup
- Pricing Tables
- Progress Bars
- Facebook Comments
- FAQ Blocks
- Countdown Timers
- Custom HTML
#3: Their Affiliate Program
Clickfunnels might be too expensive for some people, but they came up with a solution for it.
What you can do is promote them and when somebody purchases the membership, you get paid.
You only need 2-3 members to pay for your monthly expenses.

Clickfunnels' founder Russel Brunson is also about to release another product for affiliate marketers, which can sure help you out with that too. Check out my 10x Secrets Masterclass Review to learn more.
ClickFunnels vs Other Builders
I have to be completely honest. If you just search for "make a website online" on Google, you will see hundreds upon hundreds sites similar to Clickfunnels.
All of them can do the same as Clickfunnels' starter plan, more or less.
So, why use Clickfunnels instead?
The first reason I can think of is ease of use. If you were to make a simple landing page on WordPress for example, you would need to set up hosting, properly set up your domain, pick a theme (which you have to pay for obviously), and then you would just wonder around the dashboard trying to figure it out.
It could take days before you set everything up, weeks for a beginner.
Clickfunnels on the other hand, has everything accessible by the click of a button, all in your dashboard. No need to get hosting or premium themes, as it is so easy to make a decent site from scratch.
Sure, you also have other online-website-builders but they are all very limited. Clickfunnels has more elements and integration possibilites.
And the second reason is funnel sharing. Sure, other builders and WordPress have a lot of themes too, but you can't share custom ones with other people.
This is easily done in Clickfunnels and that's exactly why I decided to stick with it.
What I Don't Like
Unfortunately, there are some things that I found disturbing and just have to mention now. Don't worry, there's nothing major, just a couple of details.
#1: Limits On Funnels & Visitors
I get it, Clickfunnels. There's just so much space one user can take on your servers, but keep in mind that we are paying $97 per month afterall, which would get us a HUGE server / great hosting plan if we decided to just use WordPress.
They limit you to 20 funnels, 100 pages and 20,000 visitors (on the cheapest plan). That might sound a lot, but if you're running a lot of campaigns, especially if you own a big business, you might run out of the resources fairly quickly.
Sure, if you're just building funnels for yourself or a small/average business, you will probably be okay and won't hit the limit.
On the other hand, if you're doing affiliate marketing (where you need to test a lot of different funnels and pages & drive massive traffic) or building funnels for clients, you might find their limits annoying (just like I did).
Don't worry, if you run out of resources, you can just upgrade to a better plan. At the end of the day, you probably are making some money if you hit their limits & won't be hesistant to reinvest it.
#2: No Live Support
I'm a BIG fan of companies that have their support in place, especially if they have a live chat where I can immediately discuss my problems with the support team.
That's why I was so sad when I found out Clickfunnels doesn't have a live support.
Even though they have a lot of tutorials and guides, you might still get stuck when working on more complicated projects, and a live chat would help a lot.
What can you do, right? Maybe they'll read this post and start thinking about this kind of stuff.
Okay, let's get to the stuff you're most interested in - pricing.
Clickfunnels costs $97 and has the limits I mentioned above. Besides that, you are able to use 3 domains, integrations, analytics, membership funnels, etc.
With this plan you don't get access to Actionetics, which is their built-in email service provider used to send emails to your prospects. You also don't get access to Backpack, which is used to create your own affiliate program.
To get access to that, you need the Etison Suite, which goes for $297 and gives you unlimited access to most of their features. This one is most suitable for larger businesses and entrepreneurs.
Now you may wonder, well, how am I going to do email marketing on the starter plan, if I don't get access to Actionetics?
Pretty simple, you just need to use a 3rd party email service, I recommend GetResponse.
14 Day Free Trial
If you don't like it, you can cancel in 14 days and you won't get charged.
Can I try it for free?

Is ClickFunnels a scam?
They might have a bad buzz around them, but that's just due to the methods some of their affiliates use to promote them.
There is nothing wrong with ClickFunnels, it's a perfectly honest, scam-free service.
Do I need a domain?
Not at all, you can use the links Clickfunnels generates for you. Having a domain just looks more professional.

My Honest Opinion After Using It
So, you're here to hear my thoughts on Clickfunnels and what I honestly think about them.
I have actually extended my membership. Mainly because I have made so many pages already and I just don't have energy to transfer them to my own hosting.
I also like their split-testing system which can help you get a winner landing page fast. I have gotten pretty decent amount of leads that way.
For beginners, I think Clickfunnels will be very worth it, especially for those who don't know how to use WordPress. It will save them a lot of time and help get results quicker.
For professionals, Clickfunnels might not be the best choice. However, the only reason for that is the pricing, and you can achieve the same things with WordPress. But then again, professionals probably have a good business that earns them money and I don't think trying to save it by avoiding Clickfunnels is the right choice.
If you are a professional and own a business that makes you profit, you shouldn't be afraid to invest in Clickfunnels.
The workflow is much faster than WordPress and other CMS / website builders.
At the end of the day it's up to you, if it makes you money & saves time at the same time, why not invest back in it?
