If you tried ranking videos on Youtube, then you know how hard it can be. Ranking for big keywords is impossible, and finding keywords that you can easily rank for, and still get traffic, is difficult. In this Video Marketing Blaster review, you will find out whether it’s worth your money or not.
There was a time when you could buy 50,000 fake views for your video and rank for any keyword you desired. Youtube, of course, made it way harder to cheat and improved their algorithm, so that’s no longer an option.
Among hundreds of tools that promise rankings, I decided to pick VMB and write my honest Video Marketing Blaster review. It’s supposed to help you research keywords, generate title, description and tags, and rank you within a few minutes.
I was skeptical when I purchased it, but there are a few things I really like about the program which I use every day.
Video Marketing Blaster Review Verdict:
If you’re here just for pros and cons, read this part. I bought the Video Marketing Blaster about a year ago through an ad that popped on Facebook, I think. So I started experimenting with it, trying to rank for a wide array of keywords. I tried to rank for a few really difficult, and a lot of easy ones.
What I found was that the keyword research aspect of this program really works. If it tells you a keyword has a lot of competition, you better believe it.
You can analyze a difficult keyword, copy the tags, description and title from the program, it still won’t rank. If a keyword is hard to rank for, there’s nothing that Video Marketing Blaster can do for you. You won’t magically rank because you used the description and tags it generated for you.
On the other hand, the program is great for finding well-balanced keywords – those that are easy to rank for and still get some traffic.
Besides the keyword research feature, I use the rank tracker on a daily basis. It’s super easy to add a video and see how it ranks without having to use third-party programs (which are usually paid).
If you purchase the PRO version, you get access to 4 modules.
As mentioned above, this is the module that I use most often. Even though there is no tool that can show you exactly how many people search for specific keyword on Youtube, Video Marketing Blaster gives good estimates as to how much volume it has, and how difficult it will be to rank.
To start keyword research, you enter a seed keyword, wait for a minute or two, and the program will generate related keywords along with two variables: rank and search results.
What you need to look for in a keyword is low rank number and little search results. The lower these numbers are, the easier it will be to rank on Youtube and Google.
There is a catch, though! Though you are able to rank for a lot of keywords right away, those are mainly the ones that won’t give you much traffic. So this whole idea of “rank in one minute and get a lot of traffic” doesn’t really work in the real world.
If you, however, combine the keyword research with organic promotion and getting people to your video, it will work like charm.
This is a module where you can enter a keyword and the program will give you title, description and tags to use for best results.
The description part often looks very spammy as it’s just a bunch of keywords combined that don’t make any sense, but it does help. The way to use it is by making the raw description data prettier and incorporating keywords into sentences.
I don’t use this module at all, as I have my own system for ranking videos. Niche analysis module basically shows you the top ranking videos and how optimized their on-page SEO is.
This is a really handy feature that is worth the money alone. Now you don’t have to pay for third-party software to track keyword positions and just use the Video Marketing Blaster instead.
– Find well-balanced keywords that you can rank for with some work
– Easy to use
– Very affordable compared to other programs that promise the same things
– Comes with training videos and tutorials
– One-time fee
– Most easy keywords you find aren’t really worth targeting
– Beginners can get confused and expect miracles, such as instant #1 rankings for difficult keywords
My Honest Opinion
When I first bought this program, I thought there must be something I missed or didn’t do right. Because no matter what I did, my videos didn’t rank at all.
Of course, I was targeting keywords with a lot of competition, and expected some kind of magic.
That’s not what the Video Marketing Blaster is about. It’s good for finding keywords that you can rank for with some extra work and get decent amount of traffic to your videos.
If you expect magic, though, this program might not be the one for you. You can rank #1 on Google and Youtube for a lot of keywords immediately, but those won’t get you any traffic. So they’re not really worth targeting, unless you want to impress your friends.
My overall rating: worth the price and good for people experimenting with Youtube marketing. It’s also great for people that want to upload a lot of videos, forget about them and get a good amount of traffic when multiple videos are ranked.
I hope that this Video Marketing Blaster review gave you an idea of what to expect if you decide to purchase the program.
